Rules

These campers are owned by real people, individuals and families, who make them available to you for your enjoyment when they are not using their campers themselves. This is a great thing, as the United States has upward of 50,000 storage facilities, more than five times the number of Starbucks. Currently, there is 7.3 square feet of self storage space for every man, woman and child in the nation. And many of these facilities have parked campers. So by making these available to you, we are potentially saving resources – so you don’t have to buy one and park it at a storage facility (or your garage).

  1. Treat it like it’s yours
  2. Return it like you found it (or better)
  3. If something is broken (or breaks), tell the owner
  4. If you’re having trouble call – the owner can probably help you over the phone
  5. Follow any specific rental rules
  6. Follow the setup and tear down procedures, especially for tent trailers
  7. Drive and tow carefully
  8. Don’t speed – a wrecked trailer is a ruined vacation
  9. Don’t drink and drive – get there safely, then partake
  10. Return it on time
